Managing Partner, Kevin Carano began his career in the insurance industry in 2010 as a career sales Agent with New York Life where he achieved Executive Council¹ and Class Leader (2011 - 2012) status his first two years.  He was promoted into managment in 2013.

Kevin was a top 25 partner nationally as part of the Central California Office in 2017 and was then promoted to Senior Partner in 2018.

Kevin was recently promoted to Managing Partner of the Kansas General Office in July of 2021.  Kevin is a graduate of Fresno State University where he was an accomplished Track and Field athlete.

New York Life, Kevin and his management team are rooted solidly in providing excellence in Agent training. Such beliefs have launched many successful careers and have provided our clients with excellence in service and the highest standard of professionalism.

Kevin has been married for 11 years to his beautfiul wife Michelle.  They are parents to Maddox (7), Quentin (5) and Monroe (5). Kevin has an identical twin brother who is also a manager with New York Life.

As an agent and teacher, Troy believes preparation, organization, and creating relationships were vital components of the game.  In training new agents, he instills those same concepts. He doesn't believe in mediocrity or excuses.

Versatility when dealing with clients is vital.  Throughout training classes new agents learn to read and interpret non-verbal communication (body language and social styles).

However, diligence is a trait that we will work tirelessly to instill in our agents so that we are always putting our clients/prospects first.

Troy has two children and is an avid sooner sports fan.

Victoria started her career with New York Life as the Agency Assistant in the Mobile General Office June 2010. In that role, she supported the Managing Partner, five Partners, and over 85 agents covering the Gulf Coasts of Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.  After four years in Mobile, she accepted the Agency Standards Trainee position in Chicago, Illinois where she supervised agents in the Chicago North Shore  and West Illinois General Offices.  In 2015, Victoria was promoted to Agency Standards Manager for the New Mexico General Office and was promoted again in 2017 to Director of Agency Standards.  During her time in New Mexico, she was recognized as the “2017 Rookie of the Year” which is awarded to Agency Standards Managers within their first 3 years, who exemplify extraordinary service, leadership and rise to the challenges of the position.

In 2018, Victoria received the “Award of Excellence” for her leadership and role in achieving high ratings during Corporate Compliance Review.  In May 2019, Victoria accepted a new job opportunity in the Kansas General Office where she currently serves as the Director of Agency Standards. Prior to New York Life, Victoria worked for Harbor Financial, UBS Financial and Smith Barney.  She is insurance licensed and has the Series 7, 24, 51 and 63.

Victoria enjoys time with family and caddying for her teenage son Allen.
